Job Description

As an Environmental Engineer at Environmental Solutions Ltd., you will play a critical role in developing, implementing, and managing environmental projects. You will work closely with multidisciplinary teams to ensure compliance with environmental regulations and contribute to sustainable practices in Port Elizabeth. The ideal candidate will have experience in environmental assessments, project management, and a passion for protecting our planet.

Responsibilities

• Perform detailed environmental assessments and site investigations.
• Develop innovative solutions for waste management and recycling projects.
• Coordinate with regulatory bodies and ensure compliance with legislation.
• Analyze data related to environmental assessments and prepare reports.
• Contribute to sustainability initiatives and promote energy efficiency.
• Conduct training sessions for staff on environmental compliance.
• Evaluate the environmental impacts of projects during all phases of development.
• Work with engineers and designers to create environmentally friendly designs.
• Maintain records of environmental assessments and audits.
• Research and implement new technologies for environmental management.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Environmental Engineering or related field
• Master's degree is a plus

Experience

• 3+ years of experience in environmental engineering or related fields
