We are on the lookout for an enthusiastic Middle School Teacher to join our team, specializing in American History. The ideal candidate will be dedicated to engaging students and sparking their interest in historical events and their impact on modern society.

Responsibilities

• Plan and execute weekly lessons that cover key themes and events in American history.
• Utilize hands-on projects and collaborative activities to enhance student understanding.
• Conduct regular assessments to monitor student progress and adapt teaching methods accordingly.
• Build relationships with students to create a respectful and supportive classroom atmosphere.
• Collaborate with the history department to align curriculum and share best practices.
• Participate in ongoing professional development to stay current with educational trends.
• Provide resources and support for students needing additional assistance.
• Engage in school-wide initiatives that promote a positive school culture.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Education or History with a teaching focus
• Master's degree in Education or History is preferred

Experience

• 5+ years of teaching experience, including American History
