DevOps Engineer

Job Description

We are seeking a talented DevOps Engineer to join our team in Cape Town. You will play a key role in improving our cloud infrastructure and ensuring smooth deployment processes. The ideal candidate will have strong experience with CI/CD pipelines, cloud technologies, and automation tools.

Responsibilities

• Architect cloud solutions using industry best practices.
• Implement infrastructure as code practices using tools like Terraform.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define project requirements.
• Monitor system health and uptime to ensure reliability.
• Provide on-call support for production systems.
• Lead troubleshooting efforts for complex issues.
• Develop and maintain documentation for systems and processes.
• Promote a culture of collaboration and continuous improvement in the team.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field

Experience

• 5+ years of experience in DevOps or similar role
