Job Description

Join our team as an IT Support Technician in East London. In this role, you will provide technical assistance to end users, troubleshoot hardware and software issues, and ensure smooth operation of IT systems. We are looking for a proactive individual with a passion for technology and a desire to learn.

Responsibilities

• Respond promptly to IT support requests and provide effective solutions.
• Install updates and patches on users' computers.
• Perform routine maintenance on hardware to ensure optimal performance.
• Assist in network troubleshooting and monitor network performance.
• Create documentation for IT procedures.
• Work with the IT team on larger projects and system upgrades.
• Provide training to users on new technology and systems.
• Maintain a positive rapport with colleagues and users.
• Assist in data backup and recovery processes.

Requirements

Education

• Matric Certificate or equivalent
• Relevant IT certification (A+, N+, etc.) is advantageous

Experience

• 1-3 years of experience in IT support or a related field

Languages

• English: Fluent
