Job Description

As an Architect at Creative Designs Ltd., you will design and manage architectural projects in Cape Town. Becoming a collaborative team member will be crucial as you animate ideas, work closely with stakeholders, and ensure that projects are completed on time and within budget.

Responsibilities

• Lead architectural design projects from conception to execution.
• Interact with clients regularly to ensure satisfaction and alignment.
• Analyze building codes and regulations for compliance.
• Research and implement materials and tools that align with sustainability goals.
• Guide and supervise junior team members in their tasks.
• Develop and manage project budgets effectively.
• Create and update project schedules to keep timelines on track.
• Prepare and present design concepts to the team and clients.
• Establish positive relationships with contractors and vendors.
• Revise designs based on feedback and critiques.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Architecture
• Master's degree in Architecture is a plus

Experience

• 5+ years of professional experience as an architect.

Technical Skills

• Photoshop
• BIM Software

Soft Skills

• Attention to detail

Certifications

• Project Management Professional (PMP)
• Certified Interior Designer

Languages

• English: Fluent

Advantageous

• Experience in residential and commercial projects: Diverse project experience that includes both residential and commercial architecture.
