Job Description

As a Cybersecurity Engineer in our Durban office, you will be responsible for ensuring the security of our systems and data. Your role will involve identifying vulnerabilities, conducting security assessments, and implementing robust security measures to protect against threats.

Responsibilities

• Identify and mitigate network and application security vulnerabilities.
• Create incident response plans and conduct drills.
• Analyze security alerts to identify false positives.
• Work with compliance teams to ensure regulations are met.
• Participate in the development of security architecture.
• Liaise with external auditors and regulators.
• Regularly update documentation on security procedures.
• Research the latest security trends and threats.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Cybersecurity, Computer Science, or related field
• Relevant certifications such as CISSP or CISM are a plus

• 3+ years of experience in cybersecurity roles
