Printing Press Operator (Embosser)

Job Description

As a Printing Press Operator (Embosser), you will be responsible for producing raised images and designs on various materials using state-of-the-art embossing machines. The role demands a high level of attention to detail and a solid understanding of design principles. This position is integral to our production team and aims to ensure that each embossed product meets our high-quality standards.

Responsibilities

• Set up and operate embossing machinery efficiently.
• Collaborate with the design team to ensure accurate reproduction of designs.
• Check the quality of embossed items before they enter the final stages of production.
• Conduct regular maintenance of embossing equipment.
• Keep detailed records of materials used and products produced.
• Assist in training new team members on embossing processes.
• Participate in production meetings to discuss workflow and efficiency improvements.
• Support the overall production team efforts to meet deadlines.
• Incorporate feedback from quality control to improve production standards.
• Stay updated with advancements in embossing technology.

Requirements

Education

• Matric certificate
• Diploma or certificate in Graphic Design or related field preferred

Experience

• 1+ years of experience in manufacturing or print environments.

Languages

• English: Fluent
