The successful candidate will be responsible for evaluating insurance applications, determining coverage, and ensuring compliance with company standards. This role is crucial in helping us manage risks effectively while providing exceptional service to our clients.

Responsibilities

• Identify potential risks in applications and recommend coverage levels.
• Collaborate with underwriting team to achieve departmental goals.
• Ensure timely and accurate processing of insurance policies.
• Conduct regular reviews of underwriting guidelines and policies.
• Assist in the training and development of new staff.
• Compile reports on underwriting performance metrics.
• Engage with clients to provide excellent customer service and resolve issues.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration or related field
• Further qualifications in insurance or risk management are advantageous

Experience

• 5+ years of experience in underwriting or related fields

• Fellow, Life Management Institute (FLMI)
