Civil Engineer

Job Description

As a Civil Engineer at our East London office, you will tackle challenging infrastructure projects, ensuring they meet both client expectations and compliance. With a keen eye for detail and a passion for engineering, you will be instrumental in driving our projects to success while mentoring junior engineers and reviewing their work.

Responsibilities

• Oversee the planning and execution of various construction projects, ensuring compliance with design specifications.
• Review and approve project proposals and design calculations.
• Ensure all engineering work complies with local regulations and client specifications.
• Develop and maintain relationships with clients and contractors to foster collaboration.
• Provide technical advice and support to project teams, troubleshooting issues as they arise.
• Manage project documentation, including contracts, permits, and reports.
• Participate in project meetings, presenting updates and addressing concerns.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or related field
• Master's degree is advantageous

Experience

• 3-5 years of experience in civil engineering or construction management

Technical Skills

• Project Management
• AutoCAD

Certifications

• Professional Engineer (PrEng) registration

Languages

• English: Fluent
