Job Description

We are seeking a proactive Public Relations Officer to manage and elevate our public image in Cape Town's competitive market. The successful candidate will be responsible for crafting compelling narratives, engaging with various media outlets, and spearheading PR campaigns to boost our brand visibility.

Responsibilities

• Lead proactive outreach efforts to secure media placements.
• Prepare press kits and develop media lists.
• Execute crisis management strategies as needed.
• Involve in content creation for the agency’s marketing channels.
• Facilitate communication between stakeholders and the media.
• Monitor brand reputation online and respond appropriately.
• Assist in training staff on media handling and public speaking.
• Work with cross-functional teams to promote key initiatives.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Journalism, or related field

Experience

• 3+ years of experience in a public relations role
