Job Description

We are seeking a motivated Veterinary Technician to join our team in Cape Town. As a crucial part of our practice, you will assist veterinarians in diagnosing and treating animals, ensuring their health and wellbeing. Ideal candidates will demonstrate a passion for animal care and possess excellent communication skills.

Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with the veterinary team to ensure comprehensive animal care.
  • Perform dental cleanings and basic hygiene procedures.
  • Educate clients on pet health and preventive care.
  • Support emergency cases and critical care procedures.
  • Facilitate client communication and ensure excellent service.
  • Assist in the scheduling of appointments and follow-ups.
  • Provide compassionate support to both animals and their owners.
  • Engage in ongoing professional development and training.

Requirements

Education
  • Associate's degree in Veterinary Technology
  • Bachelor's degree in Animal Science is a plus
Experience
  • 2-4 years of experience in veterinary practice
