We are seeking an experienced Environmental Consultant to join our team in Port Elizabeth. The ideal candidate will possess a strong understanding of environmental regulations and a passion for sustainability. You will play a crucial role in advising clients on best practices and compliance with environmental legislation.

Responsibilities

• Perform site visits and inspections to assess environmental conditions.
• Assist in the preparation of environmental impact assessments.
• Engage with clients to understand their environmental challenges.
• Provide expert advice on pollution prevention and resource conservation.
• Facilitate workshops to educate clients about environmental management systems.
• Create strategies for effective waste management and reduction.
• Advocate for the adoption of green technologies and practices.
• Compile and present findings to clients in a concise manner.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to enhance project outcomes.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Environmental Engineering or related field
• Master's degree in Environmental Management is preferred

Experience

• 4+ years of experience in environmental consulting or management
