IT Security Analyst

Job Description

We are seeking a detailed-oriented IT Security Analyst to bolster our security team in Sandton. The successful candidate will play a pivotal role in safeguarding our organization’s information systems, conducting risk assessments, and implementing security protocols.

Responsibilities

• Monitor and manage firewalls, VPNs, antivirus, and other security software.
• Conduct penetration testing and risk assessments.
• Implement encryption and other data protection measures.
• Document security incidents and track their resolutions.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Information Security or equivalent experience
• Advanced certifications (CISSP, CEH) are preferred

Experience

• 4+ years of experience in cybersecurity roles

Certifications

• ISO/IEC 27001 Lead Implementer

Languages

• English: Fluent
