We are seeking a passionate Veterinary Surgeon to join our clinic in Johannesburg. This role involves providing comprehensive veterinary services, including surgical procedures, consultations, and client education, ensuring the health and happiness of the animals we care for.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and treat a range of animal illnesses and injuries.
• Perform routine and emergency surgeries with precision.
• Engage with pet owners to discuss treatment options and post-operative care.
• Ensure compliance with veterinary standards and regulations.
• Work with a team to promote pet health through preventive care programs.
• Help maintain a clean and safe working environment.
• Record detailed notes on patient histories and treatments provided.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor in Veterinary Science
• Specialization in surgery is an advantage

Experience

• Minimum 5 years of experience in veterinary practice

• Anaesthesia Management

Certifications

• Certificate in Canine and Feline Surgery
• Certification in Veterinary Medicine

• English: Fluent
