Job Description

We are seeking a Warehouse Manager to lead our Johannesburg warehouse. This role involves optimizing operational procedures, managing inventory levels, and enhancing overall efficiency. Strong decision-making and analytical skills are needed to achieve and maintain high-performance standards.

Responsibilities

  • Manage stock levels and oversee order fulfillment processes.
  • Implement systems to track inventory and optimize stock allocation.
  • Coordinate with management to drive process improvements.
  • Prepare forecasts regarding inventory needs and warehouse capacity.
  • Ensure staff adhere to company policies and procedures.
  • Develop contingency plans for unexpected supply chain disruptions.
  • Regularly communicate with senior management regarding warehouse performance.
  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives within the warehouse.
  • Ensure all shipping and receiving activities are properly documented.

Requirements

Education
  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration or related field
  • Master’s degree is advantageous

  • 5+ years in a supervisory role within warehouse operations
