Job Description

We are on the lookout for a dedicated Radiographer to join our team in Cape Town. The successful candidate will be responsible for performing diagnostic imaging examinations, ensuring the highest standards of patient care and safety throughout all procedures. Your skills in interpreting imaging results and collaborating with medical professionals will be crucial in enhancing patient outcomes.

Responsibilities

• Perform high-quality imaging examinations per protocols.
• Monitor patient’s medical history and prevent exposure to unnecessary radiation.
• Collaborate with medical staff on imaging results.
• Ensure cleanliness and organization of the imaging workspace.
• Update patient records and maintain confidentiality.
• Provide technical support for imaging equipment.

Requirements

Education

• Diploma or degree in Radiography
• Registration with the Health Professions Council of South Africa (HPCSA) is essential

Experience

• Minimum 2 years of experience in a clinical setting

• Imaging Software Proficiency

• Communication

Certifications

• Certified Radiologic Technologist (CRT)
• Basic Life Support (BLS)

Languages

• English: Fluent
