The Presidential Helicopter Crew Chief is responsible for overseeing daily operations of helicopters used for transporting the President and government officials. This role demands a commitment to safety and operational excellence.

Responsibilities

• Direct the operations and maintenance of helicopter fleets ensuring all safety protocols are adhered to.
• Lead a team of technicians in performing regular maintenance checks on aircraft.
• Develop and implement new operational procedures that promote safety and efficiency.
• Liaise with governmental departments to align operational schedules with official engagements.
• Mentor junior crew members to enhance their skills and ensure high levels of performance.
• Monitor fuel and supply chains ensuring availability at all times.
• Customize flight plans in response to changing weather conditions and security protocols.
• Perform risk assessments and adapt operational activities accordingly.

Requirements

Education

• Mechanical Engineering or a related field

Experience

• 5+ years in a high-pressure aviation environment.
