Job Description

As a Cloud Architect in our Durban office, you will play a critical role in driving our cloud initiatives forward. Your focus will be on architecture design, best practices, and ensuring our cloud services meet the highest standards.

Responsibilities

• Oversee the architectural design of cloud systems and services.
• Implement DevOps practices to streamline cloud operations.
• Develop disaster recovery and business continuity plans for cloud services.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to define and refine cloud strategies.
• Participate in technical reviews and evaluations of new technologies.
• Foster a culture of continuous improvement within the cloud team.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field
• Master's degree in related technical field is preferred

Experience

• 5+ years of experience in cloud solutions architecture

• Azure

Certifications

• Microsoft Certified Azure Solutions Architect Expert
• Certified Kubernetes Administrator

Languages

• Experience with serverless architectures: Familiarity with serverless technologies like AWS Lambda or Azure Functions.
