Responsibilities

• Develop and present design concepts to clients, ensuring alignment with their vision.
• Create detailed design specifications and oversee execution throughout the project.
• Collaborate with architects and contractors to ensure designs are implemented correctly.
• Conduct site visits to monitor project progress and address issues as they arise.
• Stay updated with design trends and materials to offer innovative solutions.
• Prepare budget estimates and ensure projects are completed within budget constraints.
• Provide guidance and direction to junior design staff, fostering a team-oriented environment.
• Ensure compliance with building codes and safety regulations.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor’s degree in Interior Design or Architecture
• Additional certification in project management is an asset

Experience

• 5+ years of proven experience in high-end residential or commercial design

• 3D Rendering

• NCIDQ Certification

Languages

• English: Fluent
