Job Description

As an Interior Designer with us, you’ll utilize your skills to enhance spaces that blend beauty with practicality. Collaborating closely with clients and contractors, you’ll define their needs, develop concepts, and execute designs that reflect style and comfort, all while managing project timelines efficiently.

Responsibilities

• Lead the design process and present ideas to clients, incorporating their feedback.
• Draft and refine design plans using CAD and other design software.
• Coordinate with suppliers and contractors to source materials and furnishings.
• Monitor timelines and project milestones to ensure deadlines are met.
• Create mood boards and material samples for client presentations.
• Engage in continuous professional development to keep skills current.
• Cultivate relationships with clients for potential repeat business and referrals.
• Manage design documentation and project records systematically.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor’s degree in Interior Design or Architecture
• Additional certification in project management is an asset

Experience

• 5+ years of proven experience in high-end residential or commercial design

Technical Skills

• 3D Rendering
• Material Selection

• Negotiation

Certifications

• NCIDQ Certification
• Green Building Certification

Languages

• English: Fluent
