UX Researcher

Job Description

We are seeking a passionate UX Researcher to join our dynamic team in Pretoria. As a UX Researcher, you will play a key role in understanding user needs and behaviors to inform our design strategies. The ideal candidate should be well-versed in various research methodologies and have a knack for translating insights into actionable design recommendations.

Responsibilities

• Conduct field studies and ethnographic research to understand user environments.
• Create wireframes and prototypes to test design concepts with users.
• Synthesize feedback to prioritize design iterations.
• Collaborate on creating a consistent user experience across all platforms.
• Identify opportunities for innovation based on user feedback and market research.
• Develop testing hypotheses and design testing plans.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in a relevant field
• Master's degree in UX Design or similar is preferred

Experience

• 3-5 years of experience in user experience research

Technical Skills

• Survey Design
• Usability Testing

Soft Skills

• Empathy
• Problem-solving

Certifications

• Certified Usability Analyst (CUA)

Languages

• English: Fluent

Advantageous

• Prototyping experience: Experience in rapid prototyping of concepts for usability testing.
• Experience in workshops and brainstorming sessions: Ability to organize and facilitate brainstorming sessions with teams.
