Health Director

Job Description

The Health Director will be responsible for managing and directing all aspects of health programs, policies, and initiatives in the organization to ensure optimal health outcomes. This high-level position requires a visionary leader with a passion for public health and a track record of successful program management.

Responsibilities

• Lead the development of health programs tailored to community needs.
• Allocate resources and oversee departmental budgets effectively.
• Maintain and foster relationships with health organizations and community groups.
• Ensure regulatory compliance across all health operations.
• Provide direction and mentorship to health team members.
• Keep abreast of legislative changes in healthcare and adjust policies accordingly.
• Promote a culture of continuous improvement and innovation within the department.
• Report regularly to the Board on health program outcomes and strategic initiatives.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Healthcare Administration
• Master's degree in a relevant field is preferred

Experience

• At least 10 years of experience in healthcare management

• Strong analytical and reporting skills
• Knowledge of healthcare laws and regulations

Certifications

• Healthcare Leadership Program Certification
