Job Description

We are looking for skilled Extruding, Forming, Pressing, and Compacting Machine Setters and Operators to join our dedicated team at XYZ Manufacturing. The ideal candidates will have proven experience in a similar role, with a solid understanding of machine operations and safety protocols to ensure optimal production efficiency.

Responsibilities

• Monitor machinery performance and make necessary adjustments to ensure optimal operation
• Conduct routine inspections and preventive maintenance on equipment
• Assist in training new operators on equipment handling and safety measures
• Communicate with team leads to report production metrics and issues
• Work proactively to enhance product quality and minimize waste
• Implement lean manufacturing practices and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives
• Train and mentor junior operators and assistants
• Document production output and anomalies for analysis
• Prepare reports for management on production efficiency and delays

Requirements

Education

• Matric certificate or equivalent
• Technical diploma preferred

Experience

• At least 3 years of experience in a manufacturing or production environment.
