Environmental Engineer

Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Environmental Engineer to join our team in Cape Town. You will be instrumental in designing and implementing sustainable solutions that align with environmental regulations. Your expertise will contribute to various projects ranging from water resource management to waste management. This role involves collaborating with various stakeholders, including government agencies and local communities.

Responsibilities

• Assess and manage environmental risks associated with various projects.
• Coordinate with multidisciplinary teams for project development.
• Advise on sustainable practices and resource conservation.
• Prepare and review environmental documentation and reports.
• Monitor project compliance with environmental standards.
• Provide technical support during the construction of environmental projects.
• Engage with stakeholders to promote environmental initiatives.
• Present findings and recommendations to management and clients.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Environmental Science or Engineering
• Master’s degree in Environmental Engineering or related is beneficial

Experience

• 3-5 years of relevant experience in environmental engineering roles
