Join our dynamic team as a Metal-Refining Furnace Operator. You will be responsible for safely operating and maintaining furnaces used in the refining of metals. The successful candidate will ensure high-quality production while adhering to safety and environmental standards.

Responsibilities

• Manage furnace operations and maintain consistent quality levels.
• Perform routine checks on equipment to prevent downtime.
• Follow procedures for handling hazardous materials safely.
• Assist in the development of operational efficiency strategies.
• Document all production processes to meet compliance standards.
• Work with team leads to optimize furnace performance.
• Contribute to a culture of safety and continuous improvement.
• Handle any emergencies according to the established protocols.
• Communicate effectively with team members regarding production goals.
• Participate in audits and inspections as required.

Requirements

Education

• Matric Certificate
• Relevant vocational training is preferred.

Experience

• Experience in the mining industry is highly advantageous.
