Cybersecurity Analyst

Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Cybersecurity Analyst to join our team in Cape Town. You will be responsible for safeguarding sensitive information, performing risk assessments, and ensuring compliance with security policies and regulations.

Responsibilities

• Identify vulnerabilities in the network and recommend improvements.
• Liaise with the Compliance team to ensure adherence to laws and regulations.
• Develop incident response strategies and procedures.
• Perform penetration testing and vulnerability scanning.
• Maintain security tools and systems.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Cybersecurity, Information Security, or related field
• Master's degree is an advantage

Experience

• 3-5 years of professional experience in cybersecurity

• Malware Analysis
• Firewall Configuration

• Teamwork

Certifications

• SANS GIAC
• CompTIA Security+

Languages

• English: Fluent

Advantageous

• Proficiency in scripting languages: Knowledge of scripting for automation in security tasks.
