Job Description

As a Family Support Worker, you will play a pivotal role in providing support to families facing challenges. This position requires a compassionate individual who can assess needs, create action plans, and provide ongoing support to enhance family stability.

Responsibilities

  • Evaluate the effectiveness of support plans and make necessary adjustments.
  • Provide training and resources for parenting and life skills.
  • Develop partnerships with schools, healthcare providers, and other stakeholders.
  • Report and document any suspected abuse or neglect according to protocol.
  • Maintain confidentiality and uphold ethical standards in all interactions.

Requirements

Education
  • Relevant diploma or degree in Social Work
  • Experience in family therapy is a plus
