MRI Technician

Job Description

We are seeking a qualified MRI Technician to join our healthcare team in Port Elizabeth. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with MRI technology, ensuring patient comfort while obtaining high-quality images for diagnostic purposes. You will work closely with radiologists and other healthcare professionals to provide exceptional patient care.

Responsibilities

• Conduct MRI imaging for various medical diagnoses.
• Ensure patient identification and documentation before procedures.
• Regularly check inventory and supply levels for MRI consumables.
• Engage in continuing education to stay informed about technological advancements.
• Participate in departmental meetings and contribute to collaborative care strategies.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Medical Imaging or similar
• Post-graduate certification in MRI technology is preferred

Experience

• 3+ years of experience in MRI-related roles

• MRI Equipment Familiarity

Certifications

• MRI Safety Training Certification

Languages

• English: Fluent
