Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Equipment Operator to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for operating and maintaining various types of machinery and equipment. They must ensure safe and efficient operations to meet production goals.

Responsibilities

• Safely operate heavy mining machinery for various underground tasks.
• Conduct regular checks and troubleshoot machinery performance issues.
• Document operational data and maintain detailed logs.
• Assist in loading and unloading materials efficiently.
• Communicate regularly with site supervisors regarding project updates.
• Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations.
• Participate in safety briefings and training sessions.
• Maintain a tidy work setup adhering to safety standards.
• Help train junior operators as needed.
• Report any equipment malfunctions to the maintenance team.

Requirements

Education

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Valid equipment operator license or certification

Experience

• Prior experience operating heavy machinery or equipment is required.

• Experience with GPS navigation systems (if applicable): Familiarity with navigating underground routes using GPS technology.
