We are searching for a skilled Cybersecurity Specialist to join our team in Port Elizabeth. This role involves safeguarding our digital infrastructures, implementing security measures, and responding to potential threats. The ideal candidate will have a solid background in cybersecurity practices and will be responsible for ensuring the protection and integrity of sensitive data.

Responsibilities

• Assess and mitigate risks to information systems.
• Oversee the implementation of firewalls and encryption technologies.
• Respond to cybersecurity incidents and manage response efforts.
• Develop security awareness training for staff and management.
• Research and recommend new cybersecurity technologies.
• Participate in security assessments and audits.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Information Technology or related field
• Relevant cybersecurity certifications are advantageous

Experience

• 4+ years of experience in cybersecurity or IT security roles
