Job Description

We are looking for an Auditor with a passion for accuracy and compliance to join our reputable auditing firm in Johannesburg. You'll be responsible for executing audit plans, assessing risks, and communicating findings to clients, all while working in a collaborative and supportive team environment.

Responsibilities

• Conduct detailed audits of financial statements to ensure compliance with legislation.
• Evaluate and identify areas for improvement in internal controls.
• Prepare detailed reports and present findings to management and clients.
• Work closely with clients to understand their operations and assess risks.
• Assist in the preparation of audit plans and procedures.
• Ensure compliance with audit guidelines and standards.
• Stay abreast of legislation changes affecting auditing procedures.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance
• Professional auditing qualification (e.g., CA(SA), ACCA) is preferred

Experience

• 3+ years of experience as an Auditor or in a similar role

• Knowledge of tax regulations: Understanding of local and international tax regulations to ensure compliance.
