Job Description

We are seeking a detail-oriented Logistics Coordinator to oversee and manage the logistics operations in Port Elizabeth. The ideal candidate will ensure that shipments are processed efficiently and on time while maintaining strong communications with suppliers and clients.

Responsibilities

• Develop logistics strategies to enhance operational efficiency and effectiveness.
• Generate regular reports on logistics performance for management review.
• Ensure adherence to safety and quality standards within logistics operations.
• Monitor freight costs and budget for logistics activities.
• Assist in training new logistics staff on operational procedures.
• Facilitate problem-solving for any logistics-related issues that arise.

Requirements

Education

• Diploma in Logistics or Supply Chain Management

Experience

• 2+ years of experience in logistics coordination

Languages

• English: Fluent

Advantageous
