Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated and knowledgeable Pharmacist to join our team in Cape Town. The ideal candidate will be responsible for dispensing medications, providing patient consultations, and ensuring compliance with health regulations. You will play a critical role in promoting wellness and improving patient outcomes.

Responsibilities

• Ensure compliance with regulations relating to pharmacy operations.
• Lead pharmacy operations to maximize efficiency and accuracy.
• Address patient inquiries and resolve issues related to prescriptions.
• Participate in continuous education to stay updated with pharmaceutical advancements.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Pharmacy or related field
• PharmD is highly desirable

Experience

• 4+ years of experience in a pharmacy setting

Technical Skills

• Clinical Pharmacology
• Pharmaceutical Care

Soft Skills

• Problem-solving
• Team Collaboration

Certifications

• Registered Pharmacist with SAPC
• First Aid Certification

Languages

• English: Fluent
• Xhosa: Conversational

Advantageous

• Participation in Clinical Trials: Experience in participating in or conducting clinical trials.
• Bilingual in English and Afrikaans or other local languages: Ability to communicate fluently in English and at least one other local language.
