Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Structural Engineer to join our dynamic team in Cape Town. The ideal candidate will possess a deep understanding of structural design principles and demonstrate effective communication skills, contributing to project development from inception to completion.

Responsibilities

  • Oversee the structural design process from conceptual stages to completion.
  • Rigorously evaluate designs for cost-effectiveness and manufacturability.
  • Coordinate with various engineering disciplines to achieve project objectives.
  • Compile and maintain accurate project documentation.
  • Ensure timely delivery of structural analysis and design deliverables.
  • Conduct risk assessments and suggest design modifications.
  • Provide solutions for structural issues encountered during construction.
  • Participate in project meetings with stakeholders to update on progress.

Requirements

Education
  • Bachelor's degree in Civil or Structural Engineering
  • Master's degree is preferred
Experience
  • 3+ years of experience in structural engineering
