Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Civil Engineer to join our team in Pretoria. In this role, you will oversee various civil engineering projects, from concept through to completion, ensuring compliance with regulations and quality standards. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of civil engineering principles and demonstrated experience in project management.

Responsibilities

• Review and analyze project specifications and blueprints.
• Coordinate with regulatory agencies to ensure compliance.
• Provide mentorship to junior engineers and interns.
• Utilize engineering software and tools for project design.
• Engage in client consultations to discuss project details and adjustments.
• Prepare progress reports and project documentation for management.
• Conduct risk assessments and develop mitigation strategies.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or equivalent
• Master's degree in Engineering Management is an asset

Experience

• 5-7 years of progressive experience in civil engineering

• Revit
• Geotechnical Engineering

Certifications

• LEED Accreditation
• RICS Certification

Languages

• English: Fluent
• Afrikaans: Conversational
