Job Description

Responsibilities

• Prepare calculations and analysis reports using industry-standard software.

• Stay informed on industry trends and regulations to enhance designs.
• Contribute to public presentations regarding engineering projects.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Civil or Structural Engineering
• Master's degree in a related field is advantageous

Experience

• 7+ years of experience in bridge and structural projects

Technical Skills

• Bridge Design Standards
• Finite Element Analysis (FEA)

Soft Skills

• Leadership
• Adaptability

Certifications

• Chartered Engineer (CEng)
• LEED Accredited Professional

Languages

• English: Fluent
• Zulu: Basic

• Experience in project cost estimation: Ability to effectively estimate project costs and manage budgets.
• Knowledge of local regulations and codes: Understanding of South Africa's construction regulations and compliance measures.
