We are seeking a skilled Freight Manager to oversee our logistics operations in Johannesburg. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing freight activities, ensuring compliance with transport regulations, and optimizing delivery schedules. This role requires strong organisational skills and the ability to lead a team effectively.

Responsibilities

• Oversee the entire supply chain process from start to finish.
• Implement systems for efficient freight scheduling and routing.
• Work closely with internal departments to align logistics with business goals.
• Monitor shipment status and respond to issues promptly.
• Conduct training sessions for staff on logistics best practices.
• Evaluate and enhance the performance of transport providers.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration or related field
• MBA is a plus

Experience

• 5+ years in freight management or logistics
