Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled Structural Engineer to join our growing team in East London. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, analyzing, and overseeing the construction of various structures, ensuring safety and compliance with local regulations. You will work closely with architects and construction teams to deliver innovative engineering solutions.

Responsibilities

  • Lead the design process for new structural projects.
  • Utilize CAD software to create and modify engineering designs.
  • Prepare and maintain project documentation and reports.
  • Participate in the planning and scheduling of project tasks.
  • Perform feasibility studies and load calculations.
  • Provide technical support on projects as required.
  • Maintain knowledge of industry trends and advancements.
  • Draft and review contracts related to engineering projects.

Requirements

Education
  • Bachelor's degree in Structural Engineering or related field
  • Master's degree is a plus
Experience
  • 5+ years of experience in structural design and analysis
Technical Skills
  • SAP2000
  • ETABS

Certifications
  • Civil Engineering Technician (CET)
