We are seeking a Cybersecurity Specialist to join our team in Port Elizabeth. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in cybersecurity practices, network security, and risk management. You will be responsible for monitoring, detecting, and responding to security incidents, ensuring the integrity and confidentiality of our systems.

Responsibilities

• Implement security measures across the organization’s infrastructure.
• Assist in designing security architecture and frameworks.
• Conduct penetration tests to identify vulnerabilities.
• Respond to security incidents and lead investigations.
• Analyze and report on security trends and risks.
• Provide technical support for security incidents.
• Work with development teams to integrate security into software development processes.
• Keep security documentation and policies updated.
• Collaborate with other departments to promote a security-first culture.
• Participate in ongoing professional development to stay current.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Cybersecurity, or related field
• Master's degree is a plus

Experience

• 5+ years of experience in cybersecurity, with strong knowledge of security frameworks
