Technical Writer

Job Description

We are on the lookout for a skilled Technical Writer to join our Cape Town team. The successful candidate will be responsible for creating comprehensive documentation, including user manuals, product descriptions, and API documentation. You will work closely with developers and engineers to refine technical content and ensure clarity and accuracy.

Responsibilities

• Write and edit technical papers and reports.
• Support the development of product specifications and design documents.
• Provide training and support for new users and employees regarding documentation tools.
• Collaborate in creating templates for internal and external documentation.
• Compile and analyze feedback to improve documentation quality over time.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Information Technology or similar field
• Master's degree preferred

Experience

• 3-5 years of experience in technical writing or related experience

Certifications

Languages

• English: Fluent
