We are seeking a skilled Architect to join our creative team in Stellenbosch. The ideal candidate will possess a solid understanding of modern architectural principles and a passion for innovative design. In this role, you will collaborate with clients and teams to deliver high-quality architectural solutions that meet project goals and enhance the community.

Responsibilities

• Lead architectural design projects from concept to completion.
• Prepare and present design proposals to clients.
• Work with engineers and contractors to facilitate project delivery.
• Ensure quality control throughout all project phases.
• Maintain project documentation and manage project timelines.
• Evaluate and recommend materials for projects.
• Stay updated with current architectural trends and technologies.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Architecture
• Master's degree in Urban Design is advantageous

Experience

• 5+ years of experience in architectural design and management

Technical Skills

• Building Codes Knowledge
• 3D Rendering

Soft Skills

• Interpersonal Skills
• Organizational skills

Certifications

• Registered Architect (SA)
• Sustainable Building Advisor (SBA)

Languages

• English: Fluent
• Afrikaans: Intermediate

Advantageous

• Knowledge of sustainable construction methods: Experience with sustainable materials and practices in construction.
• Proficiency in GIS software: Experience using Geographic Information Systems for urban design projects.
