Quality Assurance Analyst

Job Description

We are searching for a meticulous Quality Assurance Analyst to join our Port Elizabeth team. In this role, you will ensure the quality and functionality of our software products through accurate testing and analysis. You will collaborate closely with developers and project managers to identify potential issues early on in the software development lifecycle.

Responsibilities

• Create detailed, comprehensive test plans based on software specifications.
• Ensure compliance with QA standards and practices.
• Analyze test results and prepare performance reports.
• Support the integration of QA practices into the development process.
• Actively participate in team meetings to discuss project status and issues.
• Train new QA team members as needed.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in relevant technical field
• Master's degree is an advantage

Experience

• 5+ years of experience in quality assurance

• API Testing
• Performance Testing

Soft Skills

• Analytical Thinking
• Adaptability

Certifications

• Certified Agile Tester
• CSTE Certification

Languages

• English: Fluent

Advantageous

• Experience with automated performance testing tools: Knowledge of tools like LoadRunner and JMeter for stress testing applications.
• Knowledge of security testing practices: Understanding of security vulnerabilities and how to conduct security testing.
