Seeking an experienced Cloud Architect to lead our cloud initiatives in Midrand. The ideal candidate will have deep expertise in designing cloud architectures and implementing services that meet the needs of our clients. You will ensure optimal performance, scalability, and security of our cloud environments while collaborating with our skilled DevOps team to drive continuous integration and deployment practices. Responsibilities

• Conduct evaluations of cloud services and vendors to determine the best fit for our needs.
• Develop cloud strategies that ensure security and compliance with industry regulations.
• Analyze and report on system performance metrics to drive improvements.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to identify operational needs and assist in defining cloud solutions.
• Negotiate with cloud service providers to optimize costs.
• Create and conduct training sessions for staff on cloud best practices.
• Participate in architecture review sessions to ensure quality standards are met.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Information Technologies or related field
• Relevant certifications preferred

Experience

• 5+ years relevant experience in a similar role

Certifications

• Azure Solutions Architect Expert

Languages

• English: Fluent

Advantageous

• Knowledge of Microservices Architecture: Understanding of microservices principles and implementation.
