Steam Press Operator

Job Description

We are looking for a skilled Steam Press Operator to join our production team. The successful candidate will be responsible for operating and maintaining steam press machinery to ensure the efficient and effective pressing of fabrics and garments. This role requires attention to detail and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Set up and operate steam pressing equipment to complete pressing tasks effectively.
• Review production schedules and ensure timely completion of garment pressing tasks.
• Report any machinery malfunctions or maintenance needs to supervisors immediately.
• Provide input on improving processes to enhance efficiency and quality.

Requirements

Education

• High school diploma or equivalent qualification

Experience

• Experience working with different types of fabrics is an advantage.

Technical Skills

• Understanding garment finishing techniques
• Experience operating other machinery in the garment manufacturing process

Soft Skills

• Good communication skills

Languages

• English: Fluent

Advantageous

• Experience operating other machinery in the garment manufacturing process: Familiarity with related machinery used in the textile production environment.
