Job Description

As a Veterinary Surgeon at Animal Health Services Ltd., you will play a crucial role in maintaining the health and welfare of animals in our community. Your duties will include performing surgeries, diagnosing illnesses, and creating treatment plans in collaboration with a skilled team. A strong emphasis will be placed on client communication and education.

Responsibilities

  • Diagnose illnesses and administer treatment for a variety of diseases and conditions.
  • Guide and mentor junior staff and interns on clinical procedures.
  • Engage with clients to discuss treatment options and health concerns.
  • Ensure compliance with veterinary regulations and ethical standards.
  • Conduct routine health checks and wellness examinations.
  • Participate in local animal welfare initiatives and charity events.

Requirements

Education
  • BVSc from a recognized veterinary university
  • Further studies in veterinary surgery are a plus
Experience
  • At least 3 years of experience in small animal practice
