We are seeking a skilled DevOps Engineer to join our innovative team in Bloemfontein. The successful candidate will play a pivotal role in streamlining our cloud infrastructure and enhancing our continuous integration and delivery processes.

Responsibilities

• Develop automated scripts to streamline operational processes.
• Work closely with development teams to integrate DevOps practices into the software lifecycle.
• Ensure compliance with best practices in cloud architecture.
• Perform regular system backups and disaster recovery drills.
• Conduct system audits and security assessments.
• Participate in on-call support rotation for production systems.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Information Technology or a related field
• Master's degree is advantageous

Experience

• 5+ years of experience in DevOps roles

• Jenkins
• Ansible

Soft Skills

Certifications

• Google Cloud Professional DevOps Engineer
• HashiCorp Certified: Terraform Associate

Languages

• English: Fluent

Advantageous

• Experience in scripting languages such as Python or Bash: Proficient in writing scripts to automate processes.
• Familiarity with Agile methodologies: Experience working in Agile teams and methodologies.
