Actuarial Analyst

Job Description

We are seeking a detail-oriented Actuarial Analyst to join our team. In this role, you will work closely with our actuarial team to analyze data, model future events, and contribute to financial planning. A strong mathematical background and proficiency in statistical analysis are essential.

Responsibilities

• Collect and analyze statistical data to evaluate risk.
• Assist in pricing and financial modeling duties.
• Develop and maintain actuarial models to support pricing and risk assessment.
• Prepare reports and presentations detailing findings and recommendations.
• Collaborate with underwriting teams to provide expert insights on risk factors.
• Stay abreast of industry trends and insights to inform best practices.
• Participate in process improvement initiatives to enhance efficiency.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Actuarial Science, Mathematics, or Statistics
• Fellowship or associate-level membership with an actuarial body is advantageous

Experience

• 2-3 years of experience in actuarial analysis or a related field.
