Job Description

We seek a passionate Engineering Teacher to join our dynamic faculty. The ideal candidate will teach principles of mechanical drawing and design, with a focus on practical skills and theories. Inspire and prepare students for their engineering careers.

Responsibilities

• Provide hands-on experience in using drafting software such as AutoCAD and SolidWorks.
• Create a curriculum that ensures students are industry-ready upon graduation.
• Develop assessments that effectively measure student understanding and progress.
• Conduct workshops on industry practices and hosting guest speakers from the engineering field.
• Foster a culture of respect and inclusion in the classroom.
• Engage students with real-world projects to enhance practical skills.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering
• Master's degree in a relevant field is preferred

Experience

• 3+ years teaching experience in drafting or mechanical design

Technical Skills

• CATIA
• ANSYS

Soft Skills

• Patience
• Time management

Certifications

• SACE Registration

Languages

• English: Fluent

Advantageous

• Experience with special educational needs: Experience working with students requiring special educational adjustments.
• Research experience: Experience conducting research and publishing findings in engineering education.
