We are on the lookout for a talented Investment Banker to join our Johannesburg office. The ideal candidate will play a key role in advising clients on investment opportunities, managing client portfolios, and executing transactions to maximize financial outcomes.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain strong client relationships, ensuring high levels of client satisfaction.
• Perform valuation analysis using various financial models.
• Lead financial presentations and coordinate with other departments during project execution.
• Identify new business opportunities and assist in executing strategies for growth.
• Stay updated on industry regulations and compliance policies.
• Manage client communications related to investment products and strategies.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Finance or Accounting
• Master’s degree in Business Administration is an advantage

Experience

• 5+ years of experience in investment banking with a solid track record

• Mergers & Acquisitions

• Negotiation Skills

Certifications

• CFA (Chartered Financial Analyst)
• CMA (Certified Management Accountant)

Languages

• English: Fluent
• Zulu: Conversational

• Previous experience in private equity: Understanding of private equity investments and valuation practices.
• Skilled in financial software tools: Proficiency using financial software such as Bloomberg or FactSet.
