Job Description

We are in search of a passionate Investment Consultant to join our Midrand team. The ideal candidate will leverage their expertise in corporate finance to offer investment advice, develop strategies for client portfolios, and build lasting client relationships.

Responsibilities

• Develop innovative investment solutions tailored to client needs.
• Regularly review and assess market conditions to adjust strategies.
• Prepare and deliver presentations to clients, showcasing potential investment options.
• Collaborate with other financial professionals to optimize investment strategies.
• Gather client feedback to continuously improve service offerings.
• Assist in training new consultants in investment strategies and client interactions.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Finance or Economics
• CFA Level 1 or equivalent is preferred

Experience

• 2+ years of experience in financial consulting or investment advisory roles

Technical Skills

• Portfolio Management
• Financial Reporting

• Negotiation Skills
• Team Collaboration

Languages

• English: Fluent

Advantageous

• Understanding of financial regulations: Knowledge of the South African investment regulations and compliance.
• Proven sales skills: Track record of achieving sales targets in a financial consulting environment.
