Blockchain Developer

Job Description

We are looking for a talented Blockchain Developer to join our innovative team in Johannesburg. The successful candidate will have hands-on experience with blockchain technologies and will be responsible for designing and implementing smart contracts and decentralized applications (dApps). You'll work closely with other developers to ensure the successful integration of blockchain systems into our existing platforms.

Responsibilities

• Architect solutions based on blockchain technologies such as Ethereum and Hyperledger.
• Engage with stakeholders to understand requirements and deliver best-fit solutions.
• Optimize blockchain applications for maximum speed and scalability.
• Mentor junior developers in blockchain technologies and practices.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field
• Master's degree in Blockchain Technology is preferred

Experience

• 5+ years of experience in blockchain application development

• Hyperledger
• DApp Development

Certifications

• Certified Ethereum Developer
• Certified ScrumMaster (CSM)

Languages

• English: Fluent

Advantageous

• Experience with Docker and Kubernetes: Hands-on experience with containerization for deploying blockchain applications.
• Knowledge of RESTful APIs: Familiarity with creating and consuming RESTful APIs in blockchain projects.
